During exeat weekends and half-terms, children in our care are accommodated with specially selected host families all of whom are known personally to us and have undergone security checks, as required by The Children Act.

We visit our host families regularly and insist on high standards of accommodation and meals. We explain to our children what to expect in their host families and the cultural differences they may encounter.

We regard the relationship between our children and their host families as a very important part of their life in this country. Our families work with us because they are genuinely interested in hosting students and they are committed to providing a welcoming family atmosphere.
