Guardians UK provides a complete guardianship service to pupils whose parents live overseas. We are based at Taunton School and look after students at this school and other schools in the South West of England. The benefit of us looking after your child if they are at Taunton School, Taunton Prep School and Taunton School International is that we see the students regularly and they can come to ask us for assistance and support during the school day.
We know from our own experience how strange and new everything feels for children when they first arrive in the UK and how important it is to feel supported and secure.
Our aim is to ensure that a pupil's time in the UK is happy, rounded and successful, and to offer the necessary support to achieve this by giving the care and attention required.
Guardianship Services
All travel arrangements to and from school at the beginning and end of term, exeat weekends and half-term.
Settling into the school, supervising purchase of school uniform, special requests and managing pocket money.
Representing your child's needs, both academic and pastoral, through good communication with their School. Attendance at Parents Meetings.
Providing help, support and counselling.
Police registration if required.
Arranging host family accommodation as required during holiday periods and at other times.
